Founded in 2010 by Kenny Coates, Arrow Heating & A/C is a locally-owned small business dedicated to providing homeowners with honest, affordable service.

As with any business, there have been lots of failures, successes, tears, and joy. Mostly there has been a tremendous amount of learning and growth which has resulted in him being a highly skilled and meticulous technician often being able to diagnose system issues that homeowners can’t get resolved after having multiple companies and technicians try to diagnose the problem with their system. He’s been in business successfully now for over a decade with the goal of treating all customers like family.

Our History

Kenny relocated to Springfield, Mo from West Monroe, LA in early 2007 after being laid off by General Motors. He enrolled at Ozarks Technical College later that same year to learn a new skill and pursue a new career. 

A dedicated student, Kenny finished at the top of every class and went on to place 7th at the Skills USA National Competition. 

In 2009, Kenny was laid off again, following the 2008 financial-housing crisis, which devastated  trade industries, among others.

Lack of opportunity in the Springfield area led to the birth of Arrow Heating & Air Conditioning Service in 2010. There have been many failures, successes, tears, and much joy over the years. But mostly a tremendous amount of learning and growth, which has resulted in Kenny being a highly skilled and meticulous technician. He is often able to diagnose system issues that homeowners are unable to resolve with technicians from other companies. 

He's been in business successfully now for over a decade with the goal of treating all customers like family.

Arrow Heating & Air Conditioning Service in Springfield, MO aims to provide honest, excellent HVAC service at an affordable price. Part of providing honest service is providing genuine guidance to customers when it comes down to whether you’ll repair or replace your HVAC equipment. First and foremost, we are technicians striving to keep the system you have operating as well as it can for as long as we can.

However, rest assured, when the time comes that it’s no longer feasible to continue on with your existing equipment, we will be there to work with you to design a system that will fit into your budget and provide you with the highest operating efficiency possible.

Heat pumps, natural gas or propane gas furnaces, and electric heat air handlers.

Air Conditioning

Heat pumps, air conditioners, and roof top units up to 20 tons.

Residential & Light Commercial

We can do repair, maintenance, or replacement of your residential system and office buildings with residential-type systems or roof top units up to 20 tons.

When my air went out, my neighbor told me to call Kenny. So glad I did, he had my house back to cool same day even though he was swamped and didn't get there until early evening, he could have easily put me off a day, but he didn't. He will be my go to from now on!
